Small group tuition in a 3 hour class with Phillip England, the artist behind Tasmanian Tintype. Phillip has been shooting film and using photographic darkrooms since the 1970s.

No prior photography experience is required.

Wander around the famous, bustling Saturday Salamanca Markets with one of the supplied fully manual 35mm film cameras, learn how to operate the camera, identify interesting compositions & properly expose black & white film. Then head to my Salamanca Arts Centre studio darkroom where you will develop your own film and learn about ways to scan it.

Camera supplied for the session & black and white film and chemicals inclusive.

Images produced during tuition at the Tasmanian Tintype studio will be considered to have been authored jointly by the pupil and Phillip England if both have made creative contributions.
